A new Enterprise is revealed in the latest Star Trek Picard Season 3 trailer! Yes, the USS Enterprise-F of the Odyssey class is now canon. It was first seen in the MMO video game Star Trek Online. In the final season of Star Trek Picard, Jean Luc is reunited with his core Star Trek The Next Generation crew to take on a new deadly enemy a few familiar enemies along the way.

In the major unveiling, Amanda Plummer’s is revealed as Vadic, a new deadly enemy to face up against Picard and his team. Vadic is in charge of the cruiser Shrike and is hellbent on destroying Picard. We also have two recurring bad guys, reprise their roles:

Brent Spiner is back in as Data’s evil twin brother “Lore”. James Moriarty also makes a comeback in Picard’s third season and Daniel Davies reprises his performance from The Next Generation. It appears that Jean-Luc Picard must combat three bad guys in his final outing.

Whilst the third season of Star Trek: Picard reveals a new Enterprise, it is who is coming back that is the biggest surprise. Alongside Sir Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard we have Jonathan Frakes, as Captain William T. Riker, Brent Spiner as Lore, Gates McFadden as Dr. Beverly Crusher, Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi, Michael Dorn’s now-pacifistic Worf and LeVar Burton as Geordi La Forge.

Mica Burton, the daughter of LeVar Burton, will join the cast. She will portray Ensign Alandra La Forge, helmsman of the USS Titan-A.   La Forge’s other daughter, Ensign Sidney La Forge, will be played by actress Ashlei Sharpe  Chesnut.

Following Star Trek: Picard Season 2, which did see the departure of the majority of the cast, both Michelle Hurd and Jeri Ryan also return from Season 2. The forthcoming season has been described as “unexpected and uncertain” by Sir Patrick Stewart. It did, however, leave a question mark over Picard’s head, and he was “thrilled about it.”

The third & final season of Star Trek: Picard debuts on February 16th, 2023 on Paramount+. The first TWO seasons are currently streaming on the Paramount+ streaming platform.  The final season of the Picard television series will have ten episodes.
