Warning Trailer not for the faint-hearted or those easily possessed by Demons: A nun prepares to perform an exorcism and comes face to face with a demonic force with mysterious ties to her past.

The movie, which was first filmed under the title The Devil’s Light, chronicles Sister Ann’s (Jacqueline Byers) unusual ascent to prominence in the Catholic Church’s battle against the spread of demonic infestations. Her ability to cast out demons is acknowledged after she starts a school to train future priests in the procedure, and despite the fact that nuns aren’t supposed to execute exorcisms, she is given permission to do so. She is tasked with helping the young Father Dante (Christian Navarro) save the soul of a young girl who appears to be controlled by the same demon who killed Ann’s mother. She finds herself drawn into a conflict with the demon and quickly understands that she is in danger and that the devil also desires to possess her.

Robert Zappia, who wrote Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Daniel Stamm, who directed The Last Exorcism and 13 Sins, are among the cast and crew of Prey for the Devil. Virginia Madsen, who played Tony Todd’s victim in the original Candyman, also stars with Byers. Lisa Palfrey (Sex Education), Nicholas Ralph (All Creatures Great and Small), Colin Salmon (Resident Evil), and the late Ben Cross make up the rest of the major cast (Star Trek). While Scott Niemeyer, David Brooks, Michael P. Flannigan, and Brad Kessell serve as executive producers, Paul Brooks, Jessica Malanaphy, Todd Jones, and Earl Richey Jones produce the film.
