CBS has ordered a series reboot of the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis hit Spy Action movie, "True Lies" for its 022-2023 broadcast season.

The series order comes after the show was pushed off cycle for consideration during this year's pilot season after it was originally ordered to pilot at CBS in February 2021. Better late than never.

SYNOPSIS: An dissatisfied suburban housewife (Ginger Gonzaga) is shocked & surprised to learn that her boring and ordinary computer consultant husband (Steve Howey) is a brilliant international spy, much like the original True Lies film. When she's recruited to help him save the world while they try to rekindle their passionless marriage, she's catapulted into a life of peril and adventure.
