DC’s Blue Beetle + Trailer

The Blue Beetle movie trailer has dropped  and it is right here. Into the extended DC Universe we go.

In the trailer, Xolo Mariduea plays Jaime Reyes, a young guy with a close-knit family who is unemployed. One day, Penny (Bruna Marquezine), Jaime’s childhood friend, gives him a mysterious package that she asks him not to open and to guard with his life.

Naturally, Jaime opens the box because this is a superhero movie and finds an alien artefact inside. The Scarab, an artifact, attaches to Jaime and equips him with the Blue Beetle exosuit with AI onboard and thus the Blue Beetle is born.
